Code of Conduct
Associates are required to conduct themselves appropriately and comply with all CCR policies. Violations of some of these obligations may result in immediate terminatinon without prior warning. In most cases, however CCR strives to provide warning and/or suspension, and to work wtih them to improve job performance. You are encouraged to review CCR's policies found in ADP under the My Document tab and familiarize yourself with the conduct obligations
Some Violations include
Flagrant disregard for policies, practices, and management team
Harassment of any kind
Failure to carry out the instructions of a supervisor/manager or using abusive language toward a supervisor, manager, fellow associate, or guest
Unauthorized possession or removal of the property of an associate, guest or CCr
Theft
Job abandonment
Excessive absenteeism, tardiness, or early departures
Any negative statements regarding CCR, management team, associates or guest is not tolerated. The headsets pickup anything being said near you and can be heard by other guests
Questioning the authority of management team on why/how operations are ran
Insubordination
Central Services follows all of the guidelines and policies set forth by Coushatta Casino Resort. Listed in the policy handbook are policies and guidelines that affect our department on a more day-to-day basis. Please not that this is not exempting you from any other policies or guidelines listed in the Coushatta Casino Resort handbook. CCR does not recognize seniority. Going forward all shifts and days off will be determined by job performance, dependability, and conduct. It is imperative we function as a team, CCR expects all associates to conduct themselves professionally, ethically, and positively at all times, an associate's behavior, on and off the job, while on company property or in uniform reflects on the Company's integrity and image. With this in mind and under the Associates Code of Conduct, the starting and spreading of rumors, repeating gossip, showing disrespect of others diversity or background and/or communicating or displaying negative behavior around co-workers or guest will not be tolerated. Appropriate disciplinary action up to and including termination will result from a violation of this policy
No Call/No Show = 5points
Tardy = 1/2 point
Early Out = 1/2 point
Late In = 1/2 point
Leaving after working less than 4 hours = 1 point
Call In = 1 point
HVBD/Blackout periods = 2 points
10 points = Termination
CCR provides paid meal and break periods. When these occur will depend on business needs and when you are working. We provide a break schedule in our department to all associates
It is your responsibility to keep track of your breaks. With that being said, when returning from your scheduled break you should always inform the associate that will be going on break after you that you have returned so they can go on break when you are back on the phone
Do not move your break time unless approved by the supervisor on duty
It is with upmost importance that all break schedules are followed strictly. this will prevent any timing issues that will directly affect the services we provide to our guest
Returning late from your scheduled break is considered a tardie
PTO must be requested atleast 2 weeks in advance
PTO request will not be approved until the associates has enough hours banked to cover the PTO
Approvals will go to the associate that has the PTO hours banked first regardless of the time the request was submitted
Associates who request PTO but do not have a current PTO balance to cover the requested time will typically be denied. Exceptions to this policy will be made on a case-by-case basis by the director of the department and director of Human Resources. If the PTO request is approved, time take off will be unpaid.
If an associate incurs an unplanned absence from work, PTO will be deducted from his/her balance. This includes call ins, Late ins, Tardies...etc.
If requested PTO is denied and the associate calls in on any days that were denied, the associate will receive 2 points for each day that was denied
Central Services does not wear CCR uniforms. All associates are required to dress in a Business Casual Style when they report to work.
No Athletic type shoes are allowed
No flip flops are allowed. This includes flip flops with stones, jewels, or any other types of embellishments
Sandals that go between the toes are allowed bu must be sandles and not flip flops. If you are not sure, please see a supervisor or manager for approval
Open toe and backless shoes are allowed
Toes/feet must be presentable if wearing these type of shoes
No T-Shirts are allowed
No graphics on tops are allowed unless it is CCR approved
No hooded sweatshirts are allowed
Jeans are only allowed when CCR sees fit. Associates will be aware of the circumstances ahead of time and the jeans must be worn with a business casual top and appropriate footwear
Sports themed tops are only allowed when CCR sees fit.
Leggins are allowed but must be worn with a top that covers both your front and backside completely
Shoes must be worn at all times while on the clock. Do not take off your shoes and wear your socks or slippers around the office. This is a safety issue
Clothes with tears and holes are not allowed
No extreme hair styles
Unnatural hair colors are permitted but must be preapproved by the Hospitality director.
Associates are expected to practice good hygiene at all times
Associates reporting to work must present a neat and clean appearance
Associates should ensure the absence of offensive body odors and pay proper attention to oral hygiene
Associates may not use heavy fragrances
Violation of the dress code will result in you being sent home without pay
Personal Property
Personal Property is not to be left in the cubicles. Please take all personal belongings with you when you leave each day
Break areas are to remain clean at all times
Any messes made in the kitchen must be cleaned by the associate who created the mess, immediately.
There should not be any dishes left in the sink at any time. If you have a dirty dish, you must wash it before you return from your break.
No cigarette butts should be thrown on the ground. use the ashtray at all times
EVS is not always readily available for our office needs. It is the responsibility of all associates to clean up after themselves and help maintain a clean working environment
Cubes should be kept clean and free of clutter at all times
Disinfect your cubes, computer, and keyboard daily
Empty trash
Keep all food and condiments in the kitchen with your name on it.
No food is allowed outside of the break area
Drinks are permitted in the cubicles but must be in a lidded container where the lid does not have to be removed before drinking
No cell phones or electronics can be used at your cube regardless of if you are on break or not. If you need to use your cell phone during your break, please go to the designated break area
If you need to make an important call that cannot wait until your break, see your supervisor or manager
Confidentiality is a must. Please do not ask or share other associates about any personal work business or issues that you may be involved with. This includes but not limited to attendance points, days off, PTO, disciplinary actions etc.
Associates may not use personal cell phones/electronics during work hours in work areas. Personal cell phones can be used in break areas while on break or during the associate's meal periods. Serious or persistent breaches of this policy may result in disciplinary action including Termination
Hourly employees may not leave property when on the clock
Some associates in management-related positions may carry their own cell phones for use in performing their jobs
No negative Social Media post should be made about CCR or any job-related issues
Internet usage is prohibited with the exception of ADP and the CCR website
Our goal in Central Services is to create a stress free and enjoyable workspace for our associates. Please feel free to stand up, move around and visit when time permits. Please make sure your earpiece is on and you can still answer your calls in a timely manner
